It's been 50 years since our owner, Jeff Clark, first paddled out and surfed Mavericks. He was a 17-year-old senior at Half Moon Bay High School at the time, and this legendary pioneer of Mavericks pioneer then surfed it alone for the next 15 years -- no safety vest, no drones, no rescue team, no coach, no roaring crowds. As a third generation carpenter, Jeff was already building his own surfboards in his garage, and his focus quickly shifted to big wave boards not previously available in Northern California. Jeff has spent a lifetime mastering his craft from personal experience, riding every model he makes to perfect the shape, fins, and feel of every board.

The heavy, ringspun cotton blend hoodie breaks in softly with wear while keeping a structured, lived-in silhouette. Slip it on for cool evenings, road trips, or when you want a statement layer. The lined hood, ribbed cuffs, and roomy front pouch add practical comfort; the subtle back half-moon patch and sewn-in twill label nod to durable, well-made outerwear. It wears like a favorite right away and only gets better with time.

Fit: Runs a bit small, so we suggest going up one size for a looser fit
