Mavericks Surf Company attempts to be accurate in describing its products and services on the Website. We do not warrant that product and service descriptions or other content of this or any other Website are complete, reliable, current or error-free.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on the Website. However, as the actual colors you see depend on your computer monitor and other factors beyond our control, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of any color on the Website will be accurate.

We are a small, family-owned business and carry our own brand, as well as many other surf and lifestyle brands. Our inventory is subject to in-store sales, so we do at times sell out of an item. We do our best to keep our website current, but we're not perfect! If for some reason an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you promptly. You can request a full refund, a replacement item or a hold until the item becomes available.

Most of our products displayed on this Website are available in our retail store. In some cases, merchandise displayed for sale at the Website may not be available in our retail store.

The prices displayed on our website are quoted in U.S. dollars.

 

SHIPPING

We ship via US Postal Service using Priority Mail or in some cases 1st Class Mail. If you have any questions, please contact us at (650) 560-8088.

Surfboards

If you would like to inquire about a surfboard currently in stock, please call 650-560-8088 or email us for a surfboard shipping quote. We ship surfboards, SUPs and big wave guns via Delta Cargo. Check your nearest airport for Delta Cargo delivery and pick-up. Shortboards can be shipped via UPS.

Order Processing

We process orders as quickly as possible. Most in stock orders will be processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. Once an order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your USPS tracking number. If for some reason an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you promptly. You can request a full refund, a replacement item or a hold until the item becomes available.

Risk of Loss

All products purchased from the Website are transported and delivered to you by an independent carrier not affiliated with, or controlled by, Mavericks Surf Company. Title to products purchased on the Website, as well as the risk of loss for such products, passes to you when we deliver these items to the carrier. Items sent via USPS Priotity Mail are issued a tracking number and insurance up to $50, and this information will be sent to you.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Returns are accepted for store credit within 90 days of purchase. Items must not be worn or washed or have any damage such as tears or odd smells (i.e., cigarette smoke). If you are not satisfied with the items you have ordered, we will gladly accept any merchandise for exchange or store credit on all items that meet guidelines above. Refunds may be granted at manager's discretion.

If you would like to make an exchange, place another order online, and send your return back to us separately. We will credit you for the return as soon as it is received. This is the best way to ensure that you get the item that you would like to exchange while it is still in stock. Please note, all sale items are final.

Exchanges By Mail

If you would rather mail your items back to us for exchange, it's not a problem! Be sure to include your information, including a phone number where we can contact you in case of any issues. Please mail all returns to:

In-Store Returns

If you would like to make an in-store exchange, you can return unused merchandise purchased from our online store at our main location at 25 Johnson Pier, Pillar Point Harbor, Half Moon Bay. Just bring the item(s) and a copy of your receipt or packing slip. A return may be granted, at the manager's discretion, as long as you present the receipt, original credit card the purchase was made with, and a valid ID.
